Joomla Website Design & Development
I've worked with Joomla for over 15 years, and it's a platform I'm fluent with. From straightforward business websites to larger projects, I build practical, flexible websites around your business and its needs.

Development takes place on a temporary server, so your managed hosting charges only begin from your website's launch date. Standard rates apply after the first six months.
Managed Joomla websites also benefit from Admin Tools Professional, Akeeba Backup Professional and JCH Optimize Pro, maintained under the applicable licences as part of the active Dijstra Ltd hosting and maintenance service. This is separate from the free editions included with standard website builds.

A few things to know: Routine updates cover Joomla core and selected extensions installed or approved by Dijstra Ltd. Major upgrades, compatibility problems, repairs, unsupported third-party software, substantial content work and additional development may require a separate quotation. Your website remains yours to manage, with your Squarespace subscription paid directly to Squarespace. Hosting and platform maintenance are handled by Squarespace, so there's no separate maintenance package required from me.

Simple by Design
Joomla, Squarespace and Shopify all have powerful engines under the bonnet. That's useful when a website needs content management, bookings, sales or other evolving features — but not every business needs that machinery.
Static HTML is ideal for presenting relatively fixed information. Forms, booking systems, online payments and other features can be integrated, but may require extra development or third-party services. If those needs grow, I'll help you consider whether another platform offers better value.
A few things to know: Prices assume you provide your text, images, logo and general branding direction. Applying supplied branding is included; extensive artwork and content creation may cost extra. Domain registration is separate. Contact details and email links are included, but processed enquiry forms are not part of the standard website packages. The £75 annual hosting service is optional; additional work beyond its stated inclusions is quoted separately.

Planning Your Store Together
Every store is different. Before confirming a quotation, I'll review what you need and a representative sample of your existing product data, especially any Excel or CSV files. That helps establish the work involved before a price is agreed.
I'm happy to help with practical data preparation where suitable, and I'll provide guidance for adding more products and collections yourself. Larger imports or more involved work can be quoted separately.
A few things to know: Starter pricing assumes you supply your branding, page content, product information and images. Shopify subscriptions, domain registration, paid themes and apps are separate. Tax configuration, legal or policy preparation and specialist third-party app setup are not included. Complex shipping, extensive data work and ongoing store operations fall outside the starter package. Payment account approval remains with the provider; any additional work is agreed and quoted separately.

A Review You Can Actually Use
Automated tools provide useful evidence, but a score doesn't explain the whole story. I examine the results, investigate important findings and use practical judgement to identify what matters.
You'll receive a personalised PDF report on Dijstra Ltd letterhead, with prioritised observations and recommendations. Relevant usability or device-related issues may also be included where time allows.
A few things to know: Payment is required in advance. Reports are provided within 4–5 days of confirmed payment and receipt of the information or access needed to begin. Google Search Console findings can be considered where the website owner grants access. The main focus is SEO, AEO and GEO discoverability, rather than a full visual-design or usability audit. Implementation is separate, and search rankings, indexing or AI mentions cannot be guaranteed.
Not every project needs a new website or a complicated system. Sometimes it's a spreadsheet that needs sorting out, an AI workflow that could save time, or a small technical problem that's getting in the way. I enjoy finding practical solutions that suit the way you work.
